“They had so many vegan options clearly marked with little hearts. We got the fried tofu noodles (I can't remember the actual name tbh), the fried avocado roll, and the veggie roll. It was all really good. Our favorite item was the fried avocado roll. We will definitely be back when we go to Astoria again! The atmosphere was cute and the waitress was very friendly. I recommend this place if you are a vegan in Astoria!”
— adrienne ingram“Very small from outside and I would of missed it if thier wasn't traffic, I went to bank and drove by it and thought let me try this place, when I came in had quite a bit of seating to my surprise was very unique for the atmosphere that it presented from the inside . Food was great I ordered yakisoba noodles and chicken bowl and got 2 eggs forgot to tell them how wanted them cooked, got a fried rice on the side. Was way to much food for me was more hungry when came in, so took fried rice with me and the 2 eggs, so great way to have food for later. So was nice little joint that was great believe the server was Matthew and he was very polite and knew quite a bit of the menu and great personality. Spent about a little under 30 bucks but was nice. Owners wasn't thier at that time but they made a nice place to feed anyone looking for Japanese food, but teriyaki and sushi is thier game here.”
— Palik Sara“Absolutely dumbstruck! This little place may look like a hole in the wall, but prepare yourself for some amazing food. The teriyaki and yakisoba were simple, delicious, and huge! The thing that really shined for me was the sushi though. It was a large roll that was made to absolute perfection! Mix all of this in with some of the friendliest staff, it's hard to believe that any restaurant in Astoria can compete with these guys! Well done Tokyo Teriyaki. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Oregon!”
— Nathan Johnson“A tad disappointed honestly. This place has been a childhood staple for me and I’ve been going here for ages. I understand that ownership has changed but if you are going to keep the same menu I’d expect the same flavor. The chicken wasn’t as throughly cooked as usual and the sushi had no flavor. The tamago was practically flavorless and the salmon tasted more like it was straight from the can. The one thing that was good was the steamed vegetables. I genuinely hope that the food will improve in the future.”
— Giselle GardnerYes! We have extensive vegan options clearly marked with heart symbols throughout our menu, including fried tofu noodles and vegetable sushi rolls.
Our portions are very generous - most customers take food home for later meals.
We accept walk-ins and the restaurant is more spacious inside than it appears from the street.
Our teriyaki chicken and yakisoba noodles are customer favorites, along with our specialty sushi rolls.
Yes, there's street parking available nearby, though the location can be easy to miss from the road.
